S.O.C. Drops BN membership requirement for it's members.
You no longer need to be a member of BN to join the Singles' Outdoor Club, this requirment was dropped from the constitution at the S.O.C. AGM in August 2004 to take effect from the 1st January 2005.
The reason for this change is because a number of S.O.C. members had over the past few years complained about and discussed what BN offers the single naturist, the answer being not a lot, some of these members voted with their feet by leaving BN and therefore were forced to leave S.O.C. and it was with this in mind that a motion was put forward to have this requirment dropped, the motion was carried by a majority vote at the AGM.
Singles' Outdoor Club will remain a Club Member of BN, and will continue to support BN in it endevours to promote naturism in the UK, and will continue to promote BN to it's members.
The bottom line is, if you are single and a genuine naturist but not a BN member, but would like to belong to a naturist club which has a good reputation within the naturist movement, then the Singles' Outdoor Club could be the place for you.
